Street Ju Jitsu is a martial arts club located in Laverton, Australia. The club offers classes in JuJitsu for all levels, ages, and physical abilities in a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly atmosphere. The classes are taught by expert Black Belts who are passionate about teaching and have almost a century of combined experience.

JuJitsu is a very old martial art that originated in Japan. The word JuJitsu translates to 'the gentle art' and focuses on using an opponent's strength and weight against them by bending and yielding to them. It covers various techniques such as striking, grappling, throwing, locking techniques, weapons training, multiple attacks, and ground fighting. Originally developed to complement the Samurai's swordsmanship, JuJitsu is considered the most effective all-round self-defence form available today.

The club's three instructors are lifelong friends who have learned and taught JuJitsu together. They are highly passionate and motivated, working as a team to provide the best of their joint knowledge. In addition to their expertise in JuJitsu, the instructors have also trained in other martial arts such as Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Kick-Boxing, Aikido, Judo, Kung-Fu, and Capoeira, and integrate these into the curriculum.

At Street JuJitsu, the focus is on excellent technique, physical conditioning, awareness, discipline, confidence, and respect. The club teaches students to stand up to bullies while emphasising the importance of never becoming one. These values are hallmarks of the Japanese martial arts.

StreetJuJitsu is not a business-oriented at large student throughput. The club's goal is not to provide quick results and easy belts but rather to build a strong foundation made of rock, rather than sand, through hard training. The instructors dedicate their time from their personal lives and professional careers because of their love for teaching and seeing students develop in character to become humble yet highly accomplished and powerful martial artists.

The club is small, providing a highly interactive atmosphere that fosters strong bonds and friendships between its members. Students at Street JuJitsu not only learn martial arts but also become part of an amazing group of people who support and encourage each other.
