Sumner Valley Riding School is a small, family-owned and run horse riding school located in the stunning Sumner Valley of Christchurch's Banks Peninsula. With over 20 years of experience, we have been dedicated to caring for horses and teaching riding and jumping to people of all ages and riding abilities.
We offer a range of services to cater to everyone's needs. Our horse riding lessons are available for both kids and adults, and we offer private and group lessons to accommodate different preferences. Furthermore, we provide equine therapy for those who are unable to participate in riding lessons but still wish to spend time with our horses.

Our picturesque property provides the perfect backdrop for engagements, weddings, birthdays, or any other occasion you wish to commemorate. Please note that we do not provide photography services but welcome photographers and videographers to utilise our facilities.
