Sun City Rockers Nelson is a Rock'n' Roll Club located in Richmond, New Zealand. Affiliated with the New Zealand Amateur Rock'n' Roll Association, the club has been actively engaging, teaching, and inspiring dancers through the power of Rocknroll since its inception in 1999. In September 2019, the club celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a dance and a display of 20 years of memorabilia.
The primary focus of Sun City Rockers is to create opportunities for members to participate in Rock'n'Roll dancing in both competitive and social environments. The club organises various trips and events, including the New Zealand National Championships and visits to other Rock'n'Roll club dances across the regions, catering to dancers of all ages and levels.
As members of the New Zealand Amateur Rock'n'Roll Association, Sun City Rockers' members have the chance to compete in Rock'n'Roll dancing competitions at National, Regional, and Club levels. Throughout the year, the club offers lessons for beginners and experienced dancers alike. These lessons are taught by experienced coaches who can assist dancers at all skill levels. The club also occasionally holds workshops exclusively for its members.
Sun City Rockers Nelson holds its lessons and club nights at Club Waimea Hall on Queen Street in Richmond. Lessons take place on Tuesday nights, starting at 6:30 pm and concluding at 7:30 pm. Participants are advised to wear flat-heeled shoes suitable for Rock'n'Roll dancing. Following the lessons, there is a club night and social dancing from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, where members can practise their moves and enjoy the music from the era.

Sun City Rockers Nelson takes pride in its rich history and acknowledges its life members who have contributed significantly to the club over the years. The current list of life members includes Annabelle Armstrong, Marie Bone, Graham Fittock, Ken Horrill, Carol Hunter, Chris Pepperell, Jim Sargent, and Adrienne Sargent. The club has celebrated significant milestones in its history, such as its 18th and 15th anniversaries, where members gathered to commemorate their achievements.
