Sundown Diving

Descends to depths of 120 feet. The wall is covered in colourful sponge gardens, anemones, and a variety of fish species such as rockfish, lingcod, and cabezon. Divers may also encounter wolf eels, giant pacific octopus, and various invertebrates along the wall. This site is best suited for experienced divers due to the depth and sometimes strong currents.

Nanaimo has several artificial reefs that have been intentionally sunk to create habitats for marine life. Sundown Diving offers guided tours to these artificial reefs, allowing divers to explore sunken ships, planes, and other structures teeming with marine growth. These artificial reefs provide a unique diving experience and attract a wide variety of fish and invertebrate species.
