Sunnybank Bridge Club

Welcome to Sunnybank Bridge Club, located in Runcorn, Queensland. Whether you are a seasoned bridge player, a beginner, or just looking for a social outlet, our club is the perfect place for you. With a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, as well as a spacious air-conditioned clubhouse, Sunnybank Bridge Club provides a comfortable and enjoyable setting for all players.

Our club offers a variety of sessions throughout the week to accommodate players of all skill levels and availability. We have a total of eight sessions per week, including a supervised play session on Monday mornings where you can come without a partner. If you need a partner for any session, our Club can assist you in finding one through our Pianola Partnership Finder.

Table fees at Sunnybank Bridge Club are affordable, with members paying $5 and visitors paying $7 per session. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided during certain sessions, adding to the pleasant experience of playing bridge at our club.

For those interested in learning the game of bridge, Sunnybank Bridge Club offers beginners' lessons twice a year. These lessons consist of an eight-week course followed by a supervised play session for additional guidance. The first lesson is free, so we encourage you to come along and give it a try. The next course starts on January 20th, 2024, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm.

The cost for the course is $50, which includes a book, weekly notes, and afternoon tea.

In addition to regular sessions and lessons, Sunnybank Bridge Club also hosts special events throughout the year. These events include Nationwide Pairs competitions and Red Point Events, providing players with opportunities to test their skills and earn masterpoints.

Our club is managed using the Altosoft system, allowing for efficient management and communication. Our website provides useful links, such as a guide for completing a system card, an ABF masterpoints look-up, and the latest ABF newsletter.
