About
Kaori wants to share a little about the importance of drawing energy from the ground through one's feet and projecting it through the arms. It helps reduce physical strain and allows practitioners to blend with their partner's energy in Aikido, instead of clashing with it.
Kaori has found that Ki Aikido is about harmonizing with the surrounding energy, and it has had a positive influence on their life. They are grateful to have found this practice and are committed to sharing it with others.
The dojo is a welcoming and inclusive community where individuals can find a safe space to learn and grow through Ki Aikido. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced martial artist, everyone is invited to come and explore the principles of Ki.
The head instructor, Sensei Michael Gordon, brings extensive knowledge and experience to each class. He guides students on their journey towards self-improvement and personal growth. With regular classes offered in various locations, Kaori aims to provide accessible training options for all who are interested in joining this path of Ki.
The philosophy of Ki Aikido extends beyond the physical techniques practised in the dojo and into everyday life. By learning to cultivate a calm and confident mind, we can navigate the challenges and stresses of modern-day living with grace and resilience.
Come join Sunshine Coast Ki Aikido and discover the transformative power of Ki in your life. Try out a free trial class and take the first step towards a more harmonious way of living.
