Supreme Dance Centre is a renowned dance school in Tauranga, offering a wide range of dance styles and classes for dancers of all levels. From beginners to advanced dancers, there is something for everyone at our dance centre.

At Supreme Dance Centre, we are committed to providing a relaxed and friendly environment, allowing our students to learn and enjoy dancing to the fullest. With over 9 times unbeaten New Zealand Amateur and Professional Ballroom and Latin American Dance Champions, our founders and teachers, Hugh and Sonia, are specialists in the field of Ballroom, Latin American, New Vogue, and Rock & Roll dancing.

Our Tauranga Dance School offers classes and private lessons at two convenient locations. We offer beginner dance classes that commence four or five times a year for an initial 6-week course, which can be continued in blocks of 6 weeks for greater proficiency and a wider range of dances to be learned. We understand the importance of flexibility, which is why we provide different nights at different venues for our beginner classes. If a student misses a session, they are welcome to join alternative nights within the duration of the 6-week dance course.

Partnering is not essential at our Dance School as we make sure to provide someone, sometimes of an advanced level, for students to dance with. As dancers progress in their abilities, they have the opportunity to prepare for and pass dance medals in Ballroom, Latin American, and New Vogue styles, from bronze through silver to gold and higher levels. We offer proficiency examinations twice a year, where an external examiner marks dancing performances. These exams provide merit recognition for dancers' achievements and are followed by social dances and studio parties.

In addition to classes and exams, we also organise regular dance parties, children's dance classes, dance practise sessions, and offer private dance tuition for higher levels of advancement. Our dance centre aims to make dancing easy to learn and enjoyable for all.
