About
Surrey Docks Angling, led by Mike, is a well-respected fishing club in London. Mike and his team have created a welcoming environment for anglers of all levels. Whether you’re experienced or just starting, Surrey Docks Angling is the place to be.
Members need to follow the club's rules, UK laws, and Southwark Council bylaws. Always carry your Surrey Docks Angling Identification card and permit, and make sure to have a valid EA licence. Respect for fellow anglers and the environment is key.
Enjoy fishing in designated areas with the right gear, including unhooking mats and landing nets. Live baiting isn’t allowed, and fishing is limited to 48 hours unless approved by the committee.
Cleanliness is important, so keep your area tidy and take litter home. Only use keep nets during SDA matches, and barbless hooks are required. Don’t move fish, and report any carp or specimen fish catches for conservation efforts.
Safety is top priority. Report any issues with fish to the SDA bailiffs, committee, or South Docks Harbour Master. Follow gear guidelines and never leave your rods unattended.
Membership is in high demand, and the club maintains standards by carefully selecting members. For renewals, visit the Lodge at Decathlon Canada Water with your ID and membership card. The fee is £30, with a concession of £20.
