The gym was born out of the founders' own experiences and discomfort with mainstream gyms, where the gym floor was always busy and there were too many staring eyes. SwannFitness aims to provide a personal and caring touch to each woman's fitness journey, helping them become more self-secure and happy from the inside.
At SwannFitness, they offer a range of gym memberships to suit different needs, as well as personal training sessions and group courses. The group courses vary from fat loss and strength training to overall well-being and fitness. They also have a selection of classes to choose from.
The gym provides a supportive and friendly environment, with professional trainers who are dedicated to helping women achieve their fitness goals. They believe in empowering women through strength training and emphasise the mental health benefits that come along with it. By becoming physically stronger, women can feel more empowered and take better care of their mental and emotional health.
One of the popular courses offered at SwannFitness is the Strength & Weight Loss Bootcamp. This 8-week course focuses on dropping body fat while building strength through weightlifting. Participants will receive guidance on nutrition and have their progress checked regularly. The course costs 315, with a deposit of 115 required to secure a place.
Another course called Bootay Course is designed to build glutes and burn core muscles. It takes place every Saturday morning at 9:30 am and costs 40 per month, which includes gym membership.
SwannFitness also offers a Well-being & Fitness Course in collaboration with Clearer Minds Counselling & Psychotherapy. This course is fully funded and specifically available for women who wouldn't otherwise be able to access such support. It aims to raise awareness of the interconnection between physical and mental health and how exercise can positively impact both. The course includes one well-being group session and two exercise classes per week, and covers topics such as stress, anxiety, low mood, confidence, and self-esteem.
