Westerfolds Swim School Armadale is excited to announce an upcoming swimming event that is sure to make a splash!
Our swim school is dedicated to providing top-notch swim tuition, focusing on stroke technique and development. With our team of Austswim and Swim Australia qualified instructors, who continuously participate in professional development workshops, you can trust that your swimmer will receive the best education and enjoyment in the water.
Our program caters to swimmers of all levels, from the nervous beginner to mini squad groups. Our fantastic pool, measuring 12.5 meters in length with 4 lanes, offers a comfortable and safe environment for all swimmers. We even have a submerged platform for our little kids in the shallow end, making it easier for them to get comfortable. Plus, our pool is heated year-round to a toasty 33 degrees, ensuring a comfortable swim experience in any season.
We offer a range of classes to suit swimmers of different ages and skill levels. Our Baby Swim classes are designed for babies aged 6 months and above, with the aim of making them comfortable in the water from an early age. Preschool Swim classes focus on building water confidence and gaining skills for independent swimming. School Aged Swim classes help children perfect the 4 main swimming strokes, with additional focus on swim and survival skills. For those swimmers who have mastered the main strokes and want to learn more advanced skills, we offer Accelerated Swim classes.
Our classes run 7 days a week, with morning options available between 9am and 12.30pm for preschool and school-aged swimmers. For those with busier schedules, we also offer classes on Monday to Friday afternoons/evenings and Sunday mornings for school-aged swimmers. Most classes have a duration of 30 minutes, allowing for focused instruction and practice time. However, our Accelerated Swim classes run for 45 minutes, providing our more advanced swimmers with extra training opportunities.
To ensure the safety and hygiene of all our swimmers, we do have a few requirements. Swim caps are compulsory for all children over the age of 3, and students are required to bring their own goggles, bathers, swimming cap, towel, and a drink bottle for Accelerated Swim classes.
We operate on a fortnightly direct debit payment system to make the enrolment process convenient for you. Our Swim Program runs from January to December, excluding public holidays, so you can enjoy swimming lessons all year round.
