Tipton Leisure Centre invites all interested players to our local Fitness event, specifically designed for children aged four through to 11. Our swimming lessons are not only aimed at developing confident and competent swimmers but also provide a fun and enjoyable learning experience.
These lessons follow the Learn to Swim Stage 1–7 Awards, which are divided into progressive stages and form the national syllabus for primary school-aged children. Each award comes with clear outcomes that must be completed to gain it. The price for our swimming lessons is £28.00 per month (£23.12 for concessionary members), with pro rata payment applying. To make the process more convenient, we offer online sign-ups for swimming lessons on our website. In case you have any questions or concerns, our friendly and helpful teams are always available to assist you.
We want to ensure that you have a hassle-free experience at our Leisure Centre, so we provide changing rooms and lockers for your convenience. However, please note that showers may be limited during busy times. If you wish to observe your child's progress, we have spectator seating available. However, please be aware that only one parent or guardian will be permitted to accompany your child.
For children aged eight and above, you have the option to drop them off for their lesson and pick them up afterwards. We also have a Home Portal that allows you to conveniently track your child's progress. In case you have any queries, our team is just an email away.
