Swim Wales, located in Swansea, is a renowned sports club and non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting and developing swimming in Wales. With a focus on inclusivity and excellence, the club caters to learners, beginners, club swimmers, and elite athletes alike.

Their vision is to provide aquatics for everyone, ensuring that swimming is accessible and enjoyable for people of all ages and abilities throughout their lives. As a world-leading National Governing Body (NGB), Swim Wales is committed to delivering excellence in the sport and inspiring the nation to participate, learn, and compete in Welsh Aquatics.

The club prides itself on its dedicated team of professionals who work tirelessly to uphold their mission. From experienced coaches to administrative staff, the team at Swim Wales is passionate about promoting the benefits of swimming and aquatic activities for physical and mental health.

Swim Wales frequently hosts events for swimmers at all levels, offering opportunities for competition and growth. They are known for their Winter Championships, where hundreds of swimmers come together to showcase their skills and set new records. In fact, the championships held in 2023 saw six Welsh records broken by Olympians and Commonwealth Games medallists.

The Swim Wales team also actively encourages and supports para-swimmers. This recognition speaks to the talent and dedication of these athletes, who are now preparing for the 2024 Paralympic Games.

Swim Wales is proud to partner with sponsors and their main facility, the Wales National Pool, and Swansea Bay Sports Park. These collaborations allow them to provide top-notch training and competition facilities for swimmers of all levels.

In addition to their focus on competitive swimming, Swim Wales is committed to promoting swimming as a lifelong skill and fitness activity. They offer swimming lessons for learners, ensuring that individuals have the opportunity to develop essential water safety skills and confidence in the water.

As a non-profit organisation, Swim Wales relies on the support of its dedicated members and the wider swimming community. They welcome new members and partners who share their passion for aquatics and the promotion of physical and mental well-being. Aiming to make a lasting impact, Swim Wales is continually working towards their goal of creating a healthier and happier nation through swimming.
