At Gloster Jive and Swing Dance, we place a strong emphasis on connection and lead/follow techniques, which leads to impressive and stylish social dancing. So why not come and give it a whirl? While our weekly classes and regular dances are temporarily paused, you can still book us for special one-off events where we can offer our expertise in teaching or DJing.

If you've never attended a lesson before, fret not! Take a moment to check out our 'Beginners' page for all the information you need. Our beginners swing dance class is specially designed to focus on authentic six-count Lindy Hop steps. The cost for each class is just £5, or you can participate in two classes for £8. And don't worry if you don't have a partner, as absolute beginners can join the class in the main hall from 7pm to 7.55pm.
For those with a bit more experience under their belt, our intermediate Lindy Hop class starts at 8pm in the main hall and runs until approximately 8.45pm. And the fun doesn't end there! After the class, you can practice your newly acquired skills and enjoy some social dancing until 10pm.
