Swingland - Swing Dance Classes & Events (C Jam & The 1931 Club) is your go-to for Lindy hop fun in London! 🎶 Located at The Bedford in Balham, South London, you can join in every Tuesday night for some swingin' good times.

Martin Ellis, the founder of Swingland, and his partner Kim Sheard, along with occasional guest teachers, lead the pack. No matter your skill level – newbie or advanced – there’s a spot for you. Join the partner rotation or dance with your own partner – it's your call!

There’s no need to book in advance; just turn up and pay at the door. Whether you're coming alone, with a partner or with friends, you're warmly welcome. Do note though, it’s an adults-only affair – no kids or pets allowed. Typically, you’ll see around 40 fellow dancers, but that number can rise when there's live music 🎷.

Also, Swingland isn’t just about C Jam; they have classes at other venues like The Old Court in Windsor and The Hammersmith Club. You can pre-book or just show up. For those looking to perfect their moves, the swing-outs and more workshop is a big hit!
