Table Tennis Fight Club (TTFC) is not your average table tennis facility. It is an exclusive club in London that operates on a recommendation-only basis. Existing members of the club have the privilege of recommending other players, forming a select group of high-level participants who meet in secret locations to train and 'fight'.

The club's weekend sessions, held in King's Cross, are open to players of all levels, whether they are members or not. New players who are not members can book and attend the weekend sessions, and they are also welcome to apply for membership online. However, to join the elite part of the club, non-members must beat at least two current members. This ensures that only the most skilled and dedicated players become part of the elite group.

For those who are interested in becoming members but want to bypass the application process, there is another option. Non-members can attend group sessions, where they can practise with fellow non-members until they are noticed by a member. Some players have managed to reach the required standard through continuous training at these sessions.

The sessions at TTFC are coached by a full member, some of whom have been ranked in the top 50 in the UK. These sessions take place at the club's venue in King's Cross. If players don't want to take part in the group coaching, they can still play with a friend or another player by booking a Private Table Ticket for the session.

One of the best parts about TTFC is that there are no monthly or annual fees. The club operates on a pay-as-you-go system, and tickets for sessions are cheaper if booked online. In addition to regular sessions, TTFC also offers private coaching for those who want to improve their skills even further.

Table Tennis Fight Club was founded in 2014 by Georges Sokol, also known as Maverick, and is sponsored by Decathlon. The club's main aim is to help its members achieve their peak potential in table tennis. However, the club also encourages its members to promote table tennis to the public and participate in community projects.

Membership initiation at TTFC is not mandatory. Anyone can book a session and play. However, if a player has been recommended by an existing member, they can email the club with the name of the person who put them forward, and they will be invited to a free session. For those who have not been recommended, they can book a session directly or fill in an application form to be considered for an invitation.

The committee at TTFC will review the submission and decide whether to invite the applicant to a session.

To become a full member of TTFC, players must prove their worth by defeating two current full members in a best-of-five games playoff. This requirement applies to both booked players and those who have been invited. Players can challenge members at any official TTFC event and as many times as they like, as long as the members agree.

The sessions at TTFC are currently held in King's Cross on Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 5pm. Additionally, the club hosts sessions on Friday nights from 7. 15pm to 9. 15pm, approximately every fortnight.
