Tango Classes

Leigh Tango, a well-known Contemporary Dance club in Southend-on-Sea, is excited to invite all dance enthusiasts to their upcoming event. Offering a warm and friendly atmosphere, Leigh Tango provides weekly tango classes for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced dancers.

For those who are new to tango and want to explore this captivating dance form, Leigh Tango's Tango Fundamentals/Beginners class is the perfect opportunity. This class is designed for newcomers and individuals who have attended the beginners class for a few months, offering a solid foundation to master the art of tango. The entry fee for this class is £12.00.

If you have already attended the Tango Fundamentals/Beginners class for a while and have gained some social dancing experience, Leigh Tango also offers an Intermediate/Advanced class. This class is tailored for dancers looking to take their skills to the next level. The entry fee for this class is also £12.00.

In addition to these classes, Leigh Tango provides a Practica session, available for free to those who have taken a class or for a small fee of £3.00 for others. This session offers the opportunity to practice your dance moves, receive feedback, and perfect your technique in a supportive and encouraging environment.

All classes and sessions take place every Thursday evening at the beautiful St Peter’s Church, located at Eastbourne Grove, Southend-on-Sea, SS0 0QF. One of the best things about Leigh Tango is that you don't need to bring a partner to join the classes, as participants practice with each other within the group.
