Tauranga Archers, championed by the dedicated Alex, invites you to join the community at Graham Park! This non-profit club caters to archers of all ages and skill levels right in the heart of Tauranga.
Alex makes sure the club is open to anyone from 11 years old – no upper age limit here! Archery is for everyone, and it’s common to see families, couples, and friends enjoying time together with a bow and arrow.
Committed to both competitive and recreational archery, Tauranga Archers is affiliated with Archery New Zealand and the Eastern Central Bay of Plenty Archery Association. Members get access to a variety of tournaments and events throughout the year.
Club days are every Sunday. From October to March, the sessions run from 10 AM to 1 PM, and from April to September, they shift to 1 PM to 4 PM.
Annual membership renews on April 1st—$100 for seniors (20+), $50 for masters (65+), $50 for juniors (under 20), and just $10 for associates. Family discounts are available, so make sure to ask.
New to archery? Check out the “Have A Go Days” for $30 per person. These monthly sessions, limited to 12 participants, include all necessary equipment.
The club boasts a variety of bow types—recurve, compound, barebow, and longbow—and has divisions for seniors, masters, teens, pre-teens, and novices.
Conveniently located at Graham Park, you can reach the club via Edgecumbe Rd or the slip road to 11th Ave from Takitimu Drive, with parking available by the substation.

We welcome archers of all skill levels and ages, with beginners as young as 11 and older members too. Families and couples are also welcome to enjoy time together shooting.
You can come along to Have a Go Days, a fully coached introduction to archery basics with all equipment provided. We also offer a structured Beginners Course to build your skills and prepare you for full club participation.
Once you join, you can enjoy regular range shooting and club events with support from our experienced coaches and friendly members. We also have club rules and a club constitution for members to follow.
