Te Awamutu BMX Club Incorporated is a family-friendly community BMX club located in Te Awamutu, New Zealand. The club welcomes riders of all ages and skill levels to join in the exhilaration and fun of BMX racing.
During daylight savings, from the end of September through to April, the club organises weekly club nights on Mondays. Riders can check-in from 5:30 pm, with racing taking place from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The club night fee is $3 per member, with a cap of $10 per family. Non-members are also welcome to participate for a fee of $5.
Club members also have access to weekly training nights held every Tuesday. These training sessions are conducted by experienced and elite riders, including Rebecca Petch, a New Zealand Olympian who recently participated in the Tokyo Olympics.
If you're new to BMX, Te Awamutu BMX Club offers the opportunity to attend your first three club nights for free, allowing you to try out the sport before committing to membership.
