Running during ACT school terms, The International Dance Studio offers the Teen Ballroom, New Vogue, and Latin American Class. This class takes a modern teaching approach, combining the time-tested principles of technique, deportment, and respect. With Ballroom dancing, the focus is not on negative body imagery or inappropriate dance moves. It's all about creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
For teenagers who join this class, they have the opportunity to learn the beautiful art of Ballroom dancing. Plus, there's even a chance to participate in medals, performances, competitions, and further teacher training. How exciting is that?
At the end of the year, the Teenagers from The International Dance Studio will have the honour of participating in a prestigious Medal day. And that's not all! They will also be invited to shine and perform at the highly anticipated Christmas event. It's a wonderful chance to showcase their skills and spread some festive joy through the power of dance.
Parents are not allowed to sit and watch the classes, but they are more than welcome to wait in the outside corridor. After all, we understand that parents might be curious to see their talented teenagers in action.
The class duration is 45 minutes, just the right amount of time to learn and have fun without feeling overwhelmed. And to ensure that every student receives the attention they deserve, there is a limit of 10 students per class. Quality over quantity, as they say!
