Mark offers flexible rates depending on whether it is an after-school or before-school lesson during the term or during school holidays. Term lesson start times are typically at 3:15 pm, 3:45 pm, 4 pm, or 4:30 pm, with the option for later starts during Daylight Saving. Mark operates Monday to Friday before 9 am and after 3 pm during school terms, and Saturday mornings. However, please note that his court does not have lights, so night sessions are not available.
During school holidays, Mark's availability is subject to confirmed online bookings with payment made directly to his account.
When enrolling for lessons with Tennis Coach North Shore, it is important to familiarise yourself with and agree to abide by Mark's policies. Mark reserves the right to assess the readiness of a child to participate in group sessions, considering factors such as maturity and attention span. Safety is a priority, and students must be able to follow instructions and work well with others without causing distractions. Parents will be informed if there are any concerns after the first lesson.
While this may mean a child is not currently ready to join the programme, they are welcome to try again when they are a little older and more able to concentrate.
For K-yr 6 Primary Kids Groups joining an established group lesson, fees are for a full school term, usually around 9–10 weeks. Refunds are not given for non-attendance due to activities such as birthday parties or other double-booked events. However, in cases of genuine illness or injury, a maximum of 2 makeup lessons can be arranged after mutual agreement. A doctor's certificate is preferred before attending the second makeup lesson.
The closing date for joining groups is week 2 of each term, with invoices based on the number of students in each group. The cost is divided between the parents/students sharing the timeslot, with a maximum of 4 students for a half-hour lesson and 5 students for a 45-minute session. Rackets are optional, but sport shoes are compulsory. Fees may vary depending on numbers, age matching, and private sessions.
Tennis Coach North Shore provides a comprehensive and personalised coaching experience, catering to different age groups and skill levels. Mark's focus on safety, attention, and skill development ensures that each student receives the best possible instruction. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player looking to improve your techniques, Tennis Coach North Shore is committed to helping you reach your tennis goals.
