On Friday 11th June, we had the pleasure of hosting esteemed guests such as councillors, sports council members, and other agencies to showcase our completed works. The highlight of the event was when Mary's beloved son, Lyndsey, had the honour of cutting the ribbon and officially naming our committee room as 'The Mary Cunliffe Room'.
Lyndsey expressed his mother's delight and pride in witnessing the club's remarkable achievements in providing a magnificent facility for the community. We are truly humbled by Mary's legacy and are committed to continuing her vision for the club.
Now, allow us to introduce you to the new face of our former committee room – Busy Lizzy's Play Café! This vibrant space has been transformed into a versatile venue that will host various activities and events. It is here that our exciting Gymnastics For All event will take place.
