The Castle Climbing Centre, London's premier Indoor Climbing club, is excited to announce their Social climbers meet-up event. This event is perfect for climbers who are looking to join the Castle climbing community in a laid-back and enjoyable atmosphere. Regardless of your climbing grade, as long as you're a registered unsupervised climber, you are more than welcome to join in on the fun.
The Social for top rope climbing takes place every Monday and Thursday from 7pm to 9pm. No pre-booking is required for the Social specifically, but you must have a valid entry to the centre for the evening and be able to climb on top rope. Simply check in at Reception on a form located at the end of the counter from 6.45 pm, where you will also find the Social Facilitator for the night. They will be there to ensure everything runs smoothly and to assist climbers as needed.
In addition to the regular Social, the Castle Climbing Centre also hosts Special events such as the upcoming International Women's Day Bouldering Special on Wednesday, March 8th. Keep an eye on our social media channels for details of these exciting events. Remember, to join the Social, you must be a registered unsupervised climber at the Castle and agree to abide by their Code of Conduct. This ensures that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
Please note that while the Social Facilitator is not a qualified instructor, they are a passionate and experienced climber who will be there to support and guide you throughout the evening. It is important to read and follow the Castle's Code of Conduct to maintain a friendly and respectful atmosphere. Any form of anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated, so if you encounter any issues or concerns, please don't hesitate to speak to the facilitator during the event. They are there to help resolve any conflicts and ensure a positive experience for all participants. The Castle reserves the right to ask anyone who breaks the Code of Conduct to leave the Social.
