The Strength Edge Grit and Glitter 3

Join The Strength Edge for the Grit and Glitter 3 event on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta. This event is exclusively for women and features Novice Powerlifting, Novice Women’s Strongman, and Mas Wrestling competitions. Presented in partnership with Women of Steel, the event offers novice competitors and beginners a chance to experience these sports in a supportive environment.

The competitions kick off at 8am on Saturday, giving athletes an opportunity to receive coaching in a more intimate setting. Spectators are encouraged to come and show their support for the athletes, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.

Registration opens on February 1st and is open to anyone interested in trying out powerlifting, strongman, or Mas wrestling. The registration fee is $50 for powerlifting, $50 for strongman, and $25 for Mas wrestling. Participants who sign up for the strongman or powerlifting competition can also register for Mas wrestling for free, with a complimentary t-shirt included in the registration.
