Welcome to The Aquadome, a top swimming facility located in Wellington, New Zealand. The Aquadome is operated by the Swim Trust, an organisation dedicated to promoting swimming in the Wellington region and improving swimming standards among schoolchildren.
At The Aquadome, our main focus is providing school swimming programmes to five schools in Wellington Central: Wellington College, Wellington East Girls College, Clyde Quay, St Marks, and Mount Cook. We offer these schools pool space and experienced coaches to deliver quality swimming programmes. If your school is interested in relocating its swimming programme to The Aquadome or hiring swim coaches, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
In addition to school programmes, The Aquadome also offers pool hire for events. Whether you're hosting a sports meet, a community gathering, or a corporate function, our facility is available for one-off hires in the evenings and weekends. We have a full 25m pool as well as a learners pool, both of which can be utilised for your event. Please note that birthday parties are not currently available at The Aquadome.

Community groups and clubs are also welcome at The Aquadome. We provide lane hire and pool hire to various groups and organisations, including Surf Life Saving, Waterpolo, Synchronised Swimming, School Sport Teams, Learn to Swim groups, and adult swimming groups. If your group is interested in hiring lanes, the pool, or coaching services, please reach out to us, and we will provide you with availability and costing details.
