Founded by Artistic Director Kevin Dowsett, who brings 50 years of outstanding performing arts experience to the school, Theatretrain offers a vibrant and welcoming space for young performers to learn key theatre skills in dance, singing, and acting.

The theatre training sessions take place nationwide through Theatretrain's network of theatre companies. The sessions are engaging, structured, and suitable for all ages. The main company is divided into age groups of 6-8-year-olds, 9-12-year-olds, and 13-18-year-olds, with sessions serving as rehearsals for performances held later in the year. For younger aspiring performers aged 3-5, there is the Junior Ensemble, which provides fun foundation theatre training in 45- and 90-minute sessions.
