The academy is led by Principal Teacher Suzanne Shanks, who has a wealth of experience in the dance industry. Suzanne trained at the Dance School of Scotland, the London Studio Centre, and completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Suzanne has a passion for dance and theatre and takes joy in helping young people develop their technical skills while nurturing their love for dance.

Assisting Suzanne is Class Assistant Madison Smith, who is a crucial part of the academy's teaching team. Madison successfully completed her SQA Higher Dance qualification last year and is currently developing her teaching practise in primary schools in Renfrewshire. With a passion for dance and a love for working with children, Madison brings boundless energy and enthusiasm to the academy.

The Ballet and Dance Academy offers a comprehensive class timetable designed to cater to students of different age groups and levels. From the Pre-School class to Level 3, students have the opportunity to engage in narrative-led ballet and modern dance classes, with combined RAD ballet and ISTD Modern classes available. The term dates for The Ballet and Dance Academy for 2023/24 are as follows: Term 1 runs from 18th August to 15th December 2023 (excluding 20th October); Term 2 runs from 5th January to 29th March 2024 (excluding 9th February); and Term 3 runs from 19th April to 21st June 2024.
