The Boss Boxing

The gym is led by Head Coach Sammy Leone, a former Australian Institute of Sport Scholarship holder and Australian Indigenous Boxing Champion. With over 17 years of boxing experience, Sammy uses his expertise to train and mentor both high-level amateur and professional boxers, as well as community members looking to improve their fitness and join positive pathways into sport and work.

The programmes and mentoring offered at The Boss Boxing are designed to build structure, routine, and positive fitness habits, leading to improved overall wellbeing. The aim is to reduce crime, prevent suicide, and promote positive mental health outcomes not only for marginalised groups but for the broader community as well.
