Our classes deliver a traditional, disciplined and serious approach, with a positive attitude and a friendly, enjoyable atmosphere. They cover self defence, kata, karate techniques, fitness and stamina, flexibility, awareness and confidence building, and include both contact and non contact sparring.
Yes, we support member clubs and students with events such as Knockdown Tournaments, Clicker Tournaments, Kata Competitions, the yearly IKK summer camp, Brown & Black belt courses, guest seminars and local displays. We also work to support everyone through their martial arts journey.
Classes are structured following a Kyokushin grading syllabus. The training is practical and builds through earning coloured belts as well as opportunities linked to grading.
