Megan Fage, the organiser behind The County Dance Centre, has a message for the sports community. Located in Bedford, The County Dance Centre has been a cornerstone of dance education for over 40 years, offering classes for both adults and children. The school is well-known for its proficiency in ballroom, Latin, sequence, dance fitness, and freestyle.

Under Megan's leadership, the Centre caters to all levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. The classes focus on providing solid technique and style through social dance sessions, along with medal classes where students can test and demonstrate their skills.

Children's classes are also a significant aspect of the Centre, aiming to bring the joy of dance to young learners in a supportive and enjoyable environment. To foster a sense of community, Megan also organises various social events and dances. These gatherings range from the annual Summer Dance to trips to the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Recently, the Centre started organising dance holidays to Spain, blending the love of dance with travel.

Megan, who owns and serves as the principal teacher, has been with the school for over 15 years and holds qualifications from the IDTA in ballroom and Latin. She is dedicated to helping beginners build their confidence on the dance floor and enjoys participating in students' medal tests.

The Centre’s founder, Angela Higgs, has almost 40 years of teaching experience and remains actively involved. Although she handed over the reins to Megan in 2020, Angela continues to teach and loves organising social events for the community.
