The Diver Training College

The Diver Training College, based in York, has been providing courses for recreational scuba divers for over 35 years. Originally a BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club) top School, it has since become a PADI five star and IDC centre, offering courses for beginners all the way to instructors. Located at Ashley House, Malt Kiln Lane, Appleton Roebuck, York, the college is easily accessible and has a dedicated team of instructors who are passionate about diving.

One of the college's standout features is their decompression chamber, a safe and controlled environment where divers can experience diving up to 50 metres. The chamber is equipped with the Siebe Gorman 6 Bolts “Admiralty Pattern” by Robert Davies, which is an antique diving apparatus dating back 120 years. Participants also have access to military and commercial offshore diving equipment, including the US MK. V, Aquadyne DMC7, AH2 & AH3, Divex Swindells Kirby Morgan KM17b and KM37.
