Sarah, the organiser at Conwy Water Gardens, wants to extend a warm welcome to the sports community. Nestled in the stunning Snowdonia National Park within the Conwy Valley, North Wales, you'll find Conwy Water Gardens and The Dutch Pancake House offering a delightful mix of activities and treats.
Sarah's Dutch Pancake House is a fully licensed spot that serves up a range of delicious Dutch pancakes and other tasty bites.
But there's more than just pancakes. Sarah has put together a host of attractions to keep everyone entertained. Fishermen will love the fully stocked coarse fishing lakes, ideal for a relaxing day trying to hook a big one. The nature walk is perfect for exploring ponds, woods, and waterfalls while meeting resident otters, ducks, chickens, and fish.
Sarah's also got an Aquatic Centre brimming with over 100 species of fish, waiting to be admired. There's a special section dedicated to tortoises and turtles, along with all the gear you may need for them.
Entry to Conwy Water Gardens is free, making it a top pick for a family day out or a casual stroll. Visitors can feed the ducks and enjoy the natural beauty of the park. Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome everywhere except inside the pancake house, which is reserved for guide dogs only.
Opening hours for the Aquatic Centre and Nature Trail are Wednesday to Sunday from 9:30am to 5:30pm, and the Dutch Pancake House is open during the same days from 11:00am to 5:30pm. They take a well-deserved break on Mondays and bank holidays.
For keen anglers, the fishing lake is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm Wednesday to Saturday, and 8:00am to 5:30pm on Sundays. Note, the gates to the car park and grounds lock up at 5:45pm on Sundays.
Sarah encourages everyone to follow their Facebook page for the latest updates and any changes to their hours.
Whether you're after a tasty pancake, a peaceful nature walk, or some fishing excitement, Conwy Water Gardens and The Dutch Pancake House have got you covered. Join in and enjoy the charm of this lovely part of Wales!
