The Forge Martial Arts Academy in Crawley is dedicated to providing educational and enjoyable martial arts classes for kids. Known as the Wolfpack, these classes focus on teaching new skills and helping children develop their own attributes. With a fun and friendly atmosphere, the classes also involve hard work. Each child follows a set syllabus and has the goal of grading when they feel ready.
Many of the kids who have trained with the academy in the past continue their training into adulthood.
The main focus of the academy is to boost the confidence and self-esteem of each child through their martial arts training. It is also aimed at ensuring that children grow in character, personality, and of course, martial art skills. The classes introduce kids to a variety of martial arts disciplines. The initial stages emphasise boxing and kickboxing, followed by an introduction to Filipino Kali, which involves stick fighting using padded sticks.
Wrestling and grappling are also introduced at this stage. As the kids progress, they blend the skills they have learned to become well-rounded martial artists.
The Forge Martial Arts Academy places great emphasis on improving the overall well-being of the kids, not just their martial art skills. The gym is fully equipped with a matted floor and walls, as well as all the necessary training equipment.
Each class has two coaches to ensure that every child receives sufficient support and guidance.

Both parents and coaches collaborate to teach the classes. All coaches either have extensive experience in teaching kids or are under the guidance of the head coach, learning how to teach. Some coaches have previously been students in the kids' classes themselves.
In terms of pricing, The Forge Martial Arts Academy aims to keep its costs affordable for the community. The monthly fees are as follows: 25 for one class per week, 30 for two classes per week, and 35 for three classes per week. The class timetable includes sessions on Monday from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm and Saturday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The academy offers a free trial for the first class.
