About
Looking for a fun and welcoming place to enjoy lawn bowls? Look no further! The Great Baddow Bowls Club, right in Chelmsford, has been around since 1927 and is all about making the game enjoyable for everyone, whether you're in it for the competition or just for fun.
Located just off Baddow Road in the Recreation Ground, it’s easy to get to from Chelmsford city centre and surrounding areas, with plenty of free parking nearby.
The club, led by Sue McClellan, is part of several bowling associations, making it a great place for players of all levels. They’ve got a full-size six-rink green and a top-notch clubhouse, complete with a licenced bar that’s open all summer and occasionally in the winter.
With around 100 active members, the Great Baddow Bowls Club welcomes both men and women, from beginners to pros. They offer chances to play in local evening leagues and competitions at all levels. Beginners can enjoy free coaching sessions and Taster Days to get started.
Interested? Contact Sue McClellan for more details – you can find all the contact info on their website or social media pages. Come join a friendly and inclusive community at the Great Baddow Bowls Club!
