The Harrogate Dance Centre, founded by Darren Hodgson in 2004, is a leading dance school in Harrogate that specialises in Ballroom and Latin American dance tuition. Darren, a Fellow of the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association), holds the highest teaching qualification, and Jane, his wife, is qualified at Associate Level. Together, they teach all classes and private lessons. The Harrogate Dance Centre organises social dances on most Friday evenings and monthly Saturday afternoons. The cost of admission is 7 per person, and the event starts at 8:00pm, concluding at 9:45pm. The Saturday afternoon dances, held at the Clarke Foley Centre in Ilkley, feature a diverse mix of Sequence, Line Dancing, and Ballroom.

Admission is priced at 10. 50 per person and includes a scone and tea/coffee.
