They also participate in the national performing arts competition, The British Arts Awards, where they have a track record of winning multiple first place trophies.
The school holds an annual Presentation Day and biannual show, providing all students with the experience of performing for an audience. The school also offers an annual Summer School and West End theatre trip, giving students further opportunities to expand their skills and experience the performing arts world outside regular classes. The Team and Principal The Jayne Marie Dancing School is led by its Principal, Miss Hollie Bishop ISTD DDE. Miss Hollie, who herself attended the school from a young age, is proud of her students and teachers and welcomes new students from the age of 3 to 18 into the JMDS family.
