Mark, the organiser of The Lee Cricket Club, wanted to share a quick note about the club’s ongoing activities with everyone in the cricket community. Located in Great Missenden, The Lee Cricket Club has been a part of the village since 1875, with stunning grounds in Lee Manor Park, surrounded by oak trees and the occasional cow from the neighbouring field checking out the matches.
Mark mentioned that although the club initially focused on friendly fixtures, in 1999 they decided to join the Kookaburra Mid-Bucks Village League. This led to a swift promotion from Division 2 to Division 1, and they've even had seasons in the top league. These days, they balance Saturday league commitments with traditional Sunday friendly games.
In 2014, The Lee Cricket Club moved to the Morrant Chilterns League. Now, the First XI plays in the Chilterns & Mid-Bucks top division, while the Second XI competes in Division 2. Mark’s pretty chuffed about the senior teams, but he’s particularly proud of their successful colts section. Over 120 young cricketers train on Friday nights or Saturday mornings, with teams available from Under 9 to Under 18. They’ve even produced players who’ve gone on to represent the county.
The club is also part of the 'Chiltern Girls Cluster', alongside Chesham CC, Amersham CC, and Hawridge & Cholesbury CC. This partnership offers softball and hardball cricket for girls across these clubs.

The club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) and is proudly affiliated with the Morrant Chilterns Cricket League, Buckinghamshire Cricket Board, National Cricket Association, and Club Cricket Conference.
