Chris Matthews, our organiser, wants to share a personal note with everyone in our sports community.
Chris has trained extensively in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga and even went on to complete courses in prenatal and postnatal yoga, as well as Yin yoga. Chris’s yoga classes at The Loft Studio are all about balancing strength and flexibility while making sure to bring in relaxation and mindfulness. Chris believes yoga is for everyone, no matter their age or fitness level, and strives to create a very welcoming space for all.
Sophie Jones, another member of our dedicated team, discovered Pilates during her dance years and fell head over heels for it. Certified since 2012, Sophie’s classes are known for being dynamic and challenging, focusing on building core strength, better posture, and overall body awareness. For Sophie, Pilates isn’t just physical exercise; it’s a mindful practice that helps balance the body and mind. Sophie is passionate about supporting students in reaching their fitness goals and promoting wellbeing through Pilates at The Loft Studio.
