The Maureen Brown School of Dancing, found in Caterham, Surrey, has been a staple since 1973, thanks to the former professional dancer, Maureen Brown. The school offers an inviting atmosphere with classes in tap, jazz, modern, and ballet for both kids and adults.
A key event on their calendar is the annual school show at the Barn Theatre in Oxted, where all students, regardless of age or skill level, can showcase their talents. Plus, many of Maureen’s students also perform in local pantomimes around Caterham and beyond. 🎭
At the Maureen Brown School of Dancing, students can take I.S.T.D. exams in ballet, tap, modern, and jazz. Boasting a 100% success rate in these exams, the school is proud of its former pupils who have gone on to dazzling careers in the West End, international shows, and even teaching dance themselves. 🌟
From the age of 3 and up, children can join the school, including the beloved flower fairies ballet class. Some of the adult tap dancers have been with Maureen since the school’s inception in 1973.
