Welcome to The Mote Squash Club, located in the scenic grounds of The Mote Cricket Club by Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent. As a private members club, we boast four state-of-the-art squash courts and offer a wide range of sporting and social activities for our members.
At The Mote Squash Club, we are committed to providing our members with the best facilities and services. Our club features modern and stylish amenities, including an online booking service for convenient court reservations. Members can also enjoy free parking on-site.
Our vibrant bar is open weeknights from 5pm and remains busy on weekends. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a game. Additionally, our club is available for hire for parties and private functions exclusive to our members. The balcony offers picturesque views of the grounds, creating an ideal setting for post-match refreshments.
We organise Club Nights on both Friday and Sunday evenings, fostering a sense of camaraderie amongst our members. Furthermore, we hold Fitness Classes on Sunday mornings to promote an active lifestyle within our community.
The Mote Squash Club takes pride in our thriving juniors section. Led by our experienced coach, Ben Goodayle, and his coaching team, we offer organised group sessions for juniors based on their abilities. We maintain internal “box” leagues throughout the year for squash and racketball, providing members with opportunities for friendly competition. In addition, our club teams actively participate in the North Kent Priory and South East Kent Leagues. We also host Graded Tournaments, including singles, doubles, and racketball events, ensuring that players of all ages and abilities have access to competitive play. Moreover, we proudly host the monthly Mid-Kent Junior competition.
Our club offers individual or group coaching sessions by qualified coaches for players of all skill levels. Furthermore, we provide a pay and play facility for non-members at a fee of 14 per session, enabling everyone to experience the quality and camaraderie of The Mote Squash Club. Non-members can reserve a court by calling the club after 5 pm on the day of play, subject to availability.
