The co-founders, Michael and Camilla, have over 20 years of experience in both practising and teaching yoga. They first met as students in Manchester before embarking on a yoga journey that has taken them to Cambridge, London, and even Tokyo. Camilla, a Level 3 Iyengar yoga teacher, brings a dynamic and playful teaching style to the mat. Off the mat, she holds a PGCE in post-16 education and an MA in Creative Writing, with published work in notable publications such as The Guardian and Observer.

Michael, also a Level 3 Iyengar yoga teacher, has a deep understanding of the body and mind through his studies in yoga, acupuncture, and massage. With a BSc(Hons) in Acupuncture and a BA in politics and sociology, Michael combines his knowledge of the body with his passion for teaching and learning. Both Michael and Camilla believe that humour is an essential ingredient for effective teaching and learning, making their classes both educational and enjoyable.

At The Norfolk Yoga Centre, the focus is on Iyengar Yoga, a form of yoga created by B. K. S. Iyengar.

This style of yoga is known for its rigorous teacher training and accessibility. Iyengar Yoga emphasises precise body alignment, strength building, flexibility, balance, concentration, and meditation.
