The Pegasus Dance Academy

Teaching Certifications in Ballet, Tap Dance, and Modern Theatre.

After completing our training, we decided to combine our passion for dance and teaching and establish The Pegasus Dance Academy in Uxbridge. Our goal is to provide quality teaching to the highest standard in an encouraging, nurturing, and professional class environment.

At The Pegasus Dance Academy, we welcome dancers of all ages, ranging from 2. 5 to 18 years old. Whether it's a once-a-week recreational class or a desire to take dancing to the next level, we offer a variety of options to suit every dancer's needs and goals.

Our dance curriculum follows the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Board in Imperial Classical Ballet, Tap Dance, and Modern Theatre. Additionally, we also incorporate the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus into our training programmes. Both of our Joint Principals are fully qualified in all dance genres and acrobatic arts. We are DBS checked, first aid certified, and hold public liability insurance.

We have also completed Prevent Covid-19 Training to ensure the safety and welfare of all our students.

Our philosophy at The Pegasus Dance Academy is to guide and expand a love for dance, whether it leads to a professional career or simply an exploration of the art form. We believe in the importance of dedication, passion, and technique, and we strive to instil these values in every student. Our Principal's are Professionally Trained and Fully Qualified, and we encourage our students to work hard and challenge themselves to reach their full potential.

Conveniently located at the Compass Theatre in Ickenham, Middlesex, we are easily accessible by public transport and car from Ickenham, Ruislip, Hillingdon, Uxbridge, Eastcote, and Harrow. We also offer free onsite parking for our students and their families.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented strict safety measures to ensure the well-being of our dancers. We are committed to following the guidelines set by the UK Government, NHS, and Public Health England. Our Principals/Teachers have completed Prevent Covid-19 Training and are certified. We have conducted risk assessments and are fully compliant with all safety protocols.
