Led by George Edwards, a passionate and experienced fitness coach, The Training Lab aims to provide no-nonsense performance coaching to individuals seeking to achieve their fitness goals. Whether it's weight loss, improved mobility, getting fit for 40, or enhancing athletic performance, George, and his team are dedicated to helping clients find the right methodology and training approach.

George Edwards, the founder of The Training Lab, has a strong background in fitness and a personal journey that led him to discover effective training techniques. Growing up with a passion for football, his dream of becoming a professional player was hindered by injuries. This setback, however, fueled his determination to find ways to fix his injuries and become a better athlete overall.

Driven by the desire to run faster, squat heavier, lose weight, and gain strength, George became his own guinea pig, constantly testing different types of programming and training methods. Through this process, he gained valuable insights into what truly works and what doesn't in the fitness industry.

In a world filled with misleading information, such as anabolic steroids, dieting pills, detox teas, and fasting regimes, George believes that achieving fitness goals requires the right programme. The Training Lab follows a three-step approach to success: intensity, technique, and consistency.

The first step is intensity, emphasising the importance of putting energy into intentions and increasing vibrations to make things happen. The second step is technique, understanding how the body moves optimally to maximise results. Finally, consistency is key, as it's the daily actions that truly shape lives.

The Training Lab offers various programmes and packages, including the basics of compound lifting like deadlifts and squats, event-specific training for competitions, running mechanics improvement, and injury prevention programmes to address muscle imbalances or recurring injuries. Full-body assessments are available through Zoom, providing clients with a comprehensive understanding of their specific needs.

In addition to personal training, The Training Lab also provides live classes conducted by George Edwards. These classes take place over Zoom video conferencing and cover a range of workout routines. Interested participants are encouraged to download the Zoom app for a seamless experience.

The Training Lab values privacy and ensures that all private information provided during sign-ups or consultations remains confidential. The team is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals of all fitness levels.
