The Yoga Hut Fife is a peaceful haven located in Newmills, Fife, and is run by Jemma Black, a Hatha Yoga Teacher. Jemma is a highly trained and experienced teacher, having completed the Yoga Teacher Training 200 hours certificate with Distinction in 2019, and an additional 100 hours of training in 2022. She is registered for life with Yoga Alliance International (Europe) and continues to be a support teacher and lecturer for teacher training weekends at the Jyoti Yoga school.
Since becoming a Yoga Teacher, Jemma has been dedicated to her professional and personal development. She has participated in various courses and webinars, including ones on shoulder and lower back anatomy, chair yoga, yoga nidra for mental health, yoga therapy for anxiety, therapeutic yoga practises for long Covid, and inclusive yoga for varying body sizes. Jemma is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest research and practises to provide the best possible experience for her students.
At The Yoga Hut Fife, Jemma offers group classes both in person and on Zoom. These classes take place in four beautiful West Fife villages: Comrie, Torryburn, Culross, and Kincardine. She also provides one-to-one yoga sessions and specialises in Yoga Therapy for Anxiety from The Yoga Hut in Newmills. Additionally, Jemma offers 6-week Yoga Nidra sessions via Zoom.
