The Yoga Intersection

Intersection or practising with other certified Iyengar yoga teachers is required. Led Practise allows students to deepen their understanding of the practise in a group setting and build strength and flexibility.

At The Yoga Intersection, the focus is not only on the physical practise of yoga but also on the mental and spiritual aspects. The experienced and certified teachers are dedicated practitioners of B. K. S.

Iyengar's method, which emphasises the therapeutic effects of yoga. They aim to create an environment where the classical teachings of yoga as an art, science, and way of life can be adopted.

The Yoga Intersection offers a range of classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Introductory Yogasana 1 is perfect for those with no previous experience, focusing on correct alignment, extension, mobility, and stability. Yogasana 1 is suitable for students with at least 3 months of Iyengar yoga experience or those interested in returning to a class. Mixed Yogasana includes inversions, backbends, and breathing techniques, while Yogasana focuses on foundation practises and challenging poses.

Intensive is for advanced students with a minimum of two years' practise and a personal daily practise of asana/pranayama. Led Practise allows students to practise alongside others with guidance from a leader.

The studio is moving to a new venue from July 17th, 2023, located at Suite 1, 7-9 President Ave, Caringbah, with the entry door next to the cheesecake shop.
