The Thorhild Swimming Pool is a popular outdoor facility located in Thorhild, offering a range of activities and programs for all ages. Open from May to August, the pool provides public swimming sessions, Lifesaving Society lessons, private rentals, and aquafitness programs.
For those interested in swimming lessons, registration can be done online through the ticketing store. Lessons are considered final sale and non-refundable, but refunds may be issued with a doctor's note stating health reasons preventing participation. In case of cancelations due to weather or water temperatures, dates will be rescheduled or refunded on a prorated basis.
The pool also offers a Bronze Medallion & Bronze Cross Combo Course, which are prerequisites for the National Lifeguard certification. The course runs for a few days in August, with a minimum number of participants required for it to proceed.
