Thurleigh’s facilities are top-class. The newly built clubhouse has a changing room and video equipment for reviewing lessons. Riders can improve their techniques using the feedback. The indoor and outdoor arenas work for all riding styles, whether you’re competing, riding for leisure, or practising natural horsemanship.
Our lessons are tailored to meet each rider’s goals. Beth’s team of BHS approved instructors caters to all levels, from beginners to advanced riders. Specialising in flatwork and dressage, they use Spanish and Warmblood dressage schoolmasters. The focus is on understanding the horse and forming a harmonious partnership.
For those seeking livery services, there are 5 spaces available. Beth’s team provides a personal touch, creating a friendly atmosphere for both horse and owner. Livery owners have full access to all facilities, including arenas, turnout pens, solarium, and horse walker.
We also offer on-site lessons with our instructors and visiting trainers.
Beth Maloney leads the centre, bringing extensive experience. Her background includes training at Catherston stud, leading equine departments in large colleges, and as a former director at the British Equestrian Federation. Beth, a BHS Accredited Professional Coach (BHSII (SM), Calm Coaching), specialises in confidence-boosting techniques and offers training for both livery owners and outside clients.
Additionally, Thurleigh Equestrian Centre hosts Horses and Courses, an Edexcel approved training centre for home study courses in horse management and care.
