As the Head Sensei, Barney brings over 20 years of karate experience, having taken the reins of the club in 2020. His international training and competition experience over the past five years adds immense value to the club.

Under Barney’s guidance, Toatakai Karate also benefits from senior players holding National and Oceania titles. This robust backing guarantees members exceptional insight and coaching, aiding their progress in the sport.

Toatakai Karate offers classes for all ages and skill levels. Whether you're just starting out or looking to hone advanced techniques, there's a place for everyone.
