Tocal Community Pool

The Tocal Community Pool, located in Tocal, Australia, has a rich history and is a cherished resource for the local community. In the 1970s, it was discovered that many local school children lacked adequate swimming skills, prompting the construction of the pool in 1977. Thanks to funding from the CB Alexander Foundation, local government grants, and support from the local quarry and community fundraisers, the pool was completed and officially opened in 1979.

Unlike a public pool, the Tocal Community Pool operates as a members-only facility. Prospective patrons are urged to carefully review the membership terms for their own safety and to ensure the pool's continued operation as a community swimming pool. Season passes are typically available from the end of September until the end of the following March, and can be purchased from the pool reception during business hours or from the Duty Officer after hours.

For the upcoming 2023-2024 season, season passes will go on sale on September 18, 2023, with the season running from Monday, September 25, 2023, to Monday, April 29, 2024. The prices for the season passes are as follows: Child ($125. 00), Adult ($160), Family ($325), and a casual weekly pass ($10) for visitors who live outside the Tocal Community Pool catchment area. Each person is limited to a maximum of four passes per season.

It is important to note that the Tocal Community Pool does not have a lifeguard on duty. Therefore, all patrons and staff must adhere to the current Public Health Orders and NSW health guidelines concerning COVID-19.
