Our members. Our monthly membership includes unlimited access to our group classes, open mat sessions, and use of all gym equipment. We also offer private lessons for those looking for more personal attention and tailored training. Private lessons can be booked with either Owner and Head Coach Dale MacKnowed or Coach Mitch Burke.

Top Notch Muay Thai & Kickboxing is a martial arts gym located in Kelowna, founded by Owner and Head Coach Dale MacKnowed. Dale's passion for Muay Thai began in 2004, and since then, he has competed in numerous ring fights and tournaments, achieving a competition record of 7-1. Dale's dedication to the sport led him to open Top Notch Muay Thai, where he now shares his knowledge and experience with students of all levels.

Joining Dale at Top Notch is Coach Mitch Burke, who started his martial arts journey in 2013 and has competed in MMA, grappling tournaments, and K1 Kickboxing fights. Mitch's focus has shifted to Muay Thai in recent years, and his goal is to be the best practitioner of the Art of 8 Limbs while passing on his expertise to others.

The gym welcomes members of all ages and experience levels, from beginners to experienced fighters. With a range of equipment including heavy bags, Thai pads, boxing gear, weights, and a boxing ring, Top Notch provides everything needed to get in shape and master the art of Muay Thai.

In addition to group classes, open mat sessions, and sparring opportunities, Top Notch offers private lessons with Dale or Mitch for those seeking individualized training. The gym's monthly membership fee of $125 allows for unlimited access to all facilities and classes, with no contracts required.
