Enore Gardonio invites the sports community to experience the discipline and dedication at Toronto Iaido. Here, students start their journey in the Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu tradition, beginning with the Omori Ryu set. As they progress, they move on to the Hasegawa Eishin Ryu and, for the more advanced, the Okuiai, which includes standing and sitting wazas.
The instructors at Toronto Iaido bring a wealth of experience to their teaching. Enore Gardonio holds a 7th Dan in Aikido and a 5th Dan in Iaido, accumulating nearly 50 years in Japanese Martial Arts. His training spans over 40 years under Kimeda Sensei, later becoming a student of Ohmi Goyo Sensei in Iaido. Peter Schramek, who holds a 5th Dan in Iaido, has practised kendo since 1975 and Iaido in the Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu tradition since 1985. He has been teaching Iaido since 2003.
At Toronto Iaido, students delve into the practice that promotes character transformation and cultivates compassion through precise and powerful movements. The dojo, a member of the Canadian Kendo Federation, adheres to the standards set by the All Japan Kendo Federation.
